Meet Krista Simmons! She’s figured out a way to marry her passion for food with a lifestyle that allows her to travel the world. She’s lived in Barcelona, Southeast Asia and Australia to have a better understanding of food production and sustainable farming in other countries.
As a Food Journalist, she’s written for the LA Times, New York Magazine, and has recently appeared on The Today Show. She’s also been a judge on the show Top Chef Masters and is currently a judge on Esquire TV’s, Knife Fight. Currently she’s the food editor at LAist.com, where she writes and shoots segments on everything edible in Los Angeles.
On this show, we talk about how Krista is able to stay healthy and fit while juggling a busy lifestyle, why the Mexican Drug Cartel are the cause of the increased lime prices and why American fast food is destroying the world.
