How to Set S.M.A.R.T Goals-Ep. 104
Rob and Devon kick off this episode by sharing their experience of attending last week’s Podcast Movement conference in Chicago. One thing that Rob took away from the conference is how we create specific structures, strategies, and timelines for goals that we want to accomplish. Being specific with our goals is key if we truly want to reach them.
Have you ever started with good intentions when you set a goal for yourself, but then you eventually put the brakes on it and gave up? Why do you think that happened? Maybe the goal just didn’t line up with who you are or many other possible reasons. On this week’s Open Sky Fitness podcast, Rob and Devon take you through each step of the S.M.A.R.T Goals System and how you can apply it to your life.

M–Measurable Goals
A–Attainable Goals
R–Relevant Goals
T–Time framed Goals
What’s Important to You In Life?
Besides creating a specific goal plan and timeline for yourself, make a Top 10 List of the most important things in your life. It may include nutrition, relationships, mediation, your career etc. During the podcast, Rob and Devon will explain what no. 1-5 vs. no. 6-10 mean in your life as far as what is important and where your focus is currently at compared to everything else.
Your Top 10 List will help you understand where you are in your life and whether or not you’re living into the person that you believe you are.
