Dr. Joel Fuhrman_ Is Fast Food More Addicting Than Drugs_ - ep. 233 (1)

Dr. Joel Fuhrman: Is Fast Food More Addicting Than Drugs? – Ep. 233

We can control our health’s destiny; it’s not luck and the right foods enable us not just to prevent but reverse diseases unless they’re in the super advanced stages. This is a positive message that also tastes delicious and can be made into a diet style that people prefer to eat. – Dr. Joel Fuhrman

This week, we have six-time New York Times best-selling author and nutritional researcher who specializes in preventing and reversing disease through nutritional and natural methods, Dr. Joel Fuhrman on the show to talk about the Nutritarian Diet, what GBOMBS foods are and how to prepare them, plus his stance on popular oils such as coconut and olive oil and whether or not they’re actually as healthy for us as we believe to be true.

It was a great interview with him and I learned so much about which foods are best eaten raw or cooked, how to transform your taste buds to love tasty, nutritious meals, and all about his resources and events including retreats and his latest books, Fast Food Genocide and Eat to Live Quick & Easy Cookbook.

As you listen, you will also find out all about:

  • What a Nutritarian is and what the foundations of it are.
  • Why it will take you a couple of months to adjust to a new way of eating not only for your taste buds but for an emotional transition to happen as well.
  • Why you should avoid alternative sugars like Splenda, stevia, and even diet sodas because it just perpetuates your craving for sweets.
  • How long it typically takes people to teach their taste buds to like new, healthy recipes and foods.
  • Probiotics and digestive enzymes: what happens when we consume them on a daily basis if you follow an unhealthy diet vs. healthy diet.
  • Why your depression could be caused by your poor nutrition leading you to be hormonally unbalanced.
