Talkin’ to the Mind Pump Podcast Crew
Recently, Rob flew up to San Jose, California to talk to the brains behind the Mind Pump Podcast – Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer and Justin Andrews. As you listen to this exclusive interview, you’ll learn more about Rob and how he transitioned into a career as a personal fitness trainer, how Open Sky Fitness got its start, and what the future holds for OSF and more.
Together, Sal, Adam, and Justin have over 40 years of combined fitness experience in the world of health and fitness. As you tune in to their interview with Rob, you’ll hear them talk about their thoughts and opinions on:
- Modern nutrition and healthy eating skills.
- How CrossFit helped Paleo nutrition become popular.
- The possible future of health and fitness and why quick fixes aren’t the solution.
- What tips, tricks, and lessons all 4 of them have learned along their career paths.
- The ups and downs of working in the world of health and fitness
- What changes are being made now and possible into the future as far as living healthier lives.
- Our connection with food and how we can make better choices.
Our Health & Fitness Evolution
One of the biggest takeaways from this episode is that we’re always in transition and we’re all growing in different ways.
Just like Rob turning his life around to eat better and exercise more, we all have a starting point. Drinking more water, cutting out sugars, and adding more meats and vegetables to our diet is a great place to start. Not only are our choices impacting our lives, but the we’re changing the supply and demand change as consumers who are voting with our wallets.
What changes have happened throughout the food industry are now coming full circle through the Paleo Diet. Just like cigarettes, we’re realizing now that processed foods are bad and product advertisements have been feeding us all this false information over the years.
